Vitality Source was founded with the purpose of bringing Vitality – the ability to thrive – to organizations and individuals through thought leadership, consulting partnerships and learning solutions that empower a discovery of strengths, purpose and what steps are needed to overcome obstacles in reaching that purpose and related goals. Vitality operates with the belief that understanding why people do what they do is the foundation of turning strategy, vision and processes into reality. Organizations, communities, teams and individuals operate as people within systems, not cogs in a machine. A human approach to people allows for the humanity of the one while building a system that is able to support the needs of the organization with the imperfect humans that we all are.

Of her own initiative, she developed training to help us and brought us together at an off-site location to work with us as a management team. Due to Rachel’s personalized efforts, our management team was able to become more effective collectively and individually. I highly recommend Rachel as a consummate professional and an expert in human resources.

Talents such as hers are rare. I firmly believe any organization or educational institution would be lucky to have her on board. Not only that, she is a woman of integrity and has a strong work ethic.

Let’s build something together.

Why Do I Do This Work?

I believe that every individual is of worth and has unlimited potential that can be developed. I also believe that this strength of each individual is needed for us to learn to co-create a better future together. People are where this power resides.

I believe that there is always more for us to learn, grow in and experience. However, this requires us to recognize our strengths and our weaknesses, and to seek help and work with others to grow in a sustainable way.

I believe that every individual has something to contribute to our future. However, there are many who have not had the opportunity to recognize or develop the potential and strength inside of them, simply because of the circumstances they were born into. I believe that as I am given opportunities and gifts, I am to use those to create opportunities for others. So, I strive to have social impact and serve those who only need the opportunity.
My Foundation
I have often felt unable to talk about my foundation for this work. For me, it is the coming together of science and faith. I do what I do because of my beliefs about who we are as human beings, our relationship to God and our purpose here in this life.
Many people that I work with do not have the same “Why?”. And that’s ok. We are all needed to co-create something better, to continue to learn and grow together. I share my “Why?” here because I believe that we can do more together when we understand why we do what we do.
Why do I feel so strongly about working together with our different “Why’s”?
- I believe that we are all children of God – and that we all have the same worth & potential.
- I believe that I and each of us need help – a savior. We are mortal and imperfect, and we all have more to learn and grow into.
- I believe that we have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who never abandons us and asks us to never abandon each other.
- I have found that there is always more available to me to experience, learn and grow. And that it comes most often as I work together with those who have widely different experiences.
